thanks! actually i just happened to run across the vinyl today after work. no, i didn't step on it. cost me $27.99 but well worth it. the booklet is jam packed with info and interviews with every artist. it will take days to get through it all. i highly recommend: The Putney 5 [Pete Namlook & Ludwig Reinberg] FAX Records PK 08175 10:08 Putney Dust 8:00 Amourette this 12" comes in no sleeve but the music contained on it is better than average for FAX so it is worth it. "Amourette" is my favorite... it sounds to me like what tangerine dream would be doing if they had kept going in the direction they were headed 10 years ago -- melodic, trancey, layered, it moves through several distinct sections with interesting percussion in the first half and a keyboard solo in the second half, all the while you hear moog and ems sweeps and other sounds. "Putney Dust" is more dancey but comparably interesting. mike Mike J. Brown _ ___ ______________Approach and Identify ...............................................................................
