Whatever happened to the classic gods of idm? Like aphex and squarepusher?? No one talks about them anymore, and since them ive heard very few that were better. It was more than music for both of them. I have a square pusher tattoo for christ sakes. Oh and Vsnares sucks ass, i dont care what anyone says, i have all his albums and its trash.

Don't think the comment was that IDM is too quiet - just that nobody

I think that IDM can cover everything from soundscapes to breakbeat
techno - if you consider Black Dog & Plaid to be pioneers of the genre
then look at just how varied their output has been over the years.
