What technology exactly says it can't work with XP? I know a lot of
companies will just say that with there being nothing actually
substantiating such... so what makes you so sure you can't run XP other than
that is what they told you? I've got a Dell inspiron 9400 duocore2, pci
express slot, etc an dso forth. It's quite a powerful machine, not the best
of the best but pretty darn nice. It came with Vista, I put XP on it, no
probs.
But yeah, also... tascam sucks driver wise; get a new sound card.
What I use, the Onyx 400F, might be more than you need, but maudio is
slightly better (not much, the 410 has crap drivers) and RME/etc all have
solid soundcards.
