I hate to sound negative, but there are so many of these things out there -- every new one that comes out just makes me care less and less... What about last.fm? what about garageband? what about reverbnation? what about thesixtyone? what about... I think the point of myspace is not that it's free hosting for your music, but that it actually has a userbase that can justify spending time uploading songs and maintaining a page... If that's where you want to host your files, thats fine, but I'd still much rather visit a handmade website where someone took some personal time to put something together that doesn't bombard you with everyone else's music when you just want to hear from one musician. - M On 10-Oct-08, at 4:11 PM, Brandon Tallent wrote: If you haven't yet, check out the soundcloud website which just launched today. Looks like it is going to be a nice alternative for artists wanting to host music without using myspace etc. Here's my artist page: http://www.soundcloud.com/resynthesize -- BJT --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
