Well, there's 313 (Hyperreal) for Detroit & associated forms of techno,
Ambient (same place, obvious genre), Mother (Atom Heart, also on
Hyperreal - pretty quiet these days), idm-m at yahoogroups (moderated -
pretty quiet lately, as Lance is looking for someone to take over as
moderator), the FAX label list via 2350.org, the Global Techno list
through f4.ca, plus a ton of others via yahoogroups and also lots of
particular artist lists, such as the KLF and Orb lists (which are always
surprising concerning how locked in the past musically most of the
subscribers are) both through xmission.com . Hyperreal has a few more,
but I'm not sure how active they are these days. Not even sure the
Swordsmen or Lowlands lists exist these days.
