A striking blend of experimental and rhythmic elements - the sound of
Null Assembly aka George Miller - a story worth listening to:
"Last summer I set out to make a series of field recordings in 4
significant cities to me and my story. I also made a series of
recordings of sounds that accompany significant parts of my daily
routine. There were no rules as to what the sounds would be, I'd know
them when I heard them and I would record them, the city would sing and
I would arrange a song for it.
The field recordings took place in Leeds, London, Manchester and York.
The cities and sounds dictated the key, the tempo and the atmosphere of
the tracks alongside a few musings on English politeness and happy
accidents.
The sounds in these significant places ended up being a better
biographical description of my life than words could ever be!"
