Love Tone!
Test Tone at Super Deluxe is a year old this month and Mango and
Sweetrice records is 10 years old this year. Come and celebrate these
two momentous anniversaries - plus St. Valentines Day - at Super Deluxe
next Tuesday (14 February).
To mark 10 years of Mango and Sweetrice, Feb 14 sees the release of
Coppe's double compilation CD, featuring Takemura Nobukazu, Tipsy,
Qbert, Kettel, as well as several artists that have graced Test Tone
over the past year, including skab/t and Legofriendly. Test Tone will
host the release party with a performance by Coppe w/ the Laptop
Quintet.
Also on stage will be e.d.o. Echo Soundsystem, testing the bass response
of Super Deluxe's speakers, and possibly the patience of the other
tenants in the building ...
Kicking off the evening will be an all-new set by the all-new
Legofriendly. Definitely a unit to watch in 2006: remember where you
saw them first.
As if that weren't enough, we're proud to have Ben Sheppee of
lightrhythmvisuals projecting some video treats throughout the evening.
All in all, definitely the event to bring your loved one to.
And did we mention that Test Tone is still FREE?
