Adventures on the Wheels of Steel with Mad Wax is a nod to the past, the
present and even sometimes the future :) Digging deep into the crates,
collected over 11 years since Mad Wax got his start in the Austin Texas
dance scene back in 1994, and through various radio shows on 91.7 FM KVRX,
web broadcasts via Radiovalve and now podcasts with Rope Swing Cities, the
aim of this weekly 30 minute podcast is to showcase all forms of dance
music, whether it be funky house stylings, moody techno for chin strokers,
drum n bass, ambient dance hall, trip hop even down to hip hop music. We

Adventures on the Wheels of Steel With Mad Wax Volume 002
Another hump day and another dash behind the decks for AOS volume 2. This
time I went straight for the dirty trippy house music feel that some of my
cohorts from the Texas house scene turned me on to back in my Austin daze.
This past December, I was driving home lamenting that not too many places
in town are dropping the house goodness on a regular basis anymore, and I
dropped by the now defunkt Sweat records on Larimer Street in Denver to
get my house treats for the day. This mix is comprised of those cuts. Get
your Chicago swagger on. And specifically for the EMML massive and the man
like Rouse, a spacy bit of detroit techno to round out the matter.
