Yes, the Public Enemy 12" singles are the way to go. And you never fully appreciate the Bomb Squad production until you hear those instrumental versions. Around 5 years ago, Universal/Island reissued loads of vintage Def Jam material on vinyl but missed a trick by not remastering it onto 2x12". carl morris Greg Clow wrote:
