well, i like 3" cd-rs - they're what i'm releasing now instead of split 7"s,
as pressing costs got too high for super-limited edition vinyl releases.
the good points are they look cute and you can release up to 21 minutes of
music - better than the 12 or so minutes on a 7" at 33rpm.
i've released three 'idm' 3"s so far and all have been well received,
selling as well as my 7"s did so i'd say go for it...!
