I use the relatively inexpensive Grado SR60s at work to plug into my PC tower (they work VERY well for low output sources like that) with no amp and they changed my world. Drop an amp into the picture and the story is quite different. I know PBE handles Grados - I think David Hodgson had some input in the mix with Joe Grado, in fact (although I had my own before I knew David handled 'em). jeff seek wrote:
