I feel you. I offer condolences. I expect no less from a animal that finds justifications for their own commited monstrosites; that a natural one could be amusing. I find myself dead and apathetic at times. zach ----Original Message Follows---- From: "dj fishead" <fishead666@hotmail.com> To: mark@psilos.net, idm@hyperreal.org Subject: RE: [idm] when the levee breaks Date: Thu, 01 Sep 2005 23:35:59 +0000 The nightly news is not a snuff film for you to enjoy. I've been evacuated from my home due to a flood. I've spent time sinking eight foot long 4"x4" posts three feet into the ground and building fences to shore up sandbag dykes... and I count myself lucky that the dykes held and that my home was saved. I count myself lucky that I didn't have to witness widespread panic, rioting, looting and people using arms to find a way to get out of a crisis situation. From what I understand, more than a half-a-million people have lost their homes... and the people that had the least to lose are the ones that are still stuck in a situation where they're fighting each other for survival. What's fascinating is that assholes are entertaining themselves with song lyrics instead of doing somethng positive. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
