Werk, IMO, is the place to start anyway. I have the Stacs on order and it hasn't yet arrived, but Werk One and all 4 of the Grim Dubs exemplify what it is I am or am not saying. This material seems to be bridging elements of IDM with a dash of Tiefschwartz styled tech, noise and a smidgin (e.g., Pendle Coven) of hip hop. In short, it blends several styles, leaning this way and that in various tracks. I like it less when it moves into the more funglish aspects, but that isn't enough in degree or occurance to put me off.
I hadn't thought about it in terms of similarity (bundling Pndle Coven with Skream, Black Rabbit Whorehouse and Werk releases) until I was burning off my vinyl rips onto cdr recently and these all seemed logical bedfellows.
