Just curious (as this doesn't get mentioned much):
What think ye of the ilk such as is proffered by the Werk label - Black Rabbit Whorehouse, Skream, Pendle Coven some to mind as possible other suspects.
Quite a mixed bag, but I've found myself really liking a lot of the Grim Dubs stuff.
It seems to encompass a broad swath of styles, but certainly falls into IDM, albeit grimey idm.
Although my fondness for funglish/drill-n-bass type things expired sometime last century for the most part, there's enough variety in these slabs to keep me collecting them - particularly the Werk label material.
