I know a lot of electronic musicians who bear no prejudice against rock -- DJ T1000 is way into early 90s shoegazer stuff like My Bloody Valentine and Swervedriver. Stuntrock loves him some classic rock. Donna Summer is all about Prog Rock. In general the only people who like just one kind of music are young and looking to identify themselves with the subculture based around that music. Being into electronic music and having a list of rockish stuff that you've decide is cool enough to admit liking is such a hipsterish thing -- I don't have time for it. I like Johnny Cash a lot, and John Coltrane, and Zap Mama, and Bach, and the Wailing Souls, and IDM, and House Music, and Techno, and Disco, and Funk and ...
