Personally, I'd rather have discussion of interesting-but-not-really-IDM music than no discussion of music. What's the BOC mix like anyway?
That reminds me - wasn't there talk of a new album, or at least something new from them before too long? They've had three years to work on it now...

Haven't heard it. But quite good, and in a vaguely SPT vein is [A]pendics Shuffle's Smooth Hair, on Proptronix. Nice twisted electro bounce. Is anyone else into this, and is their latest 12 on Orac as good?

And because they rule?
One more thing that's been rocking me recently is the new album from Mika Vanio (operating as O - or rather, one of those Scandinavian 'O's with a line through it) - Kantamoinen. It's very nice ambient synthscapes in a sort of mid-90's Fax style, but a bit more focused and with occasional retro echoes of old academic electronic music or of Tonto's Expanding Head Band. Very lovely.
