I think it would be best to set up a triple-threat match between Kraftwerk,
Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis at the Acropolis... which would play out as
follows...
Kraftwerk initially have the upper hand - knocking Vangelis out of the ring
and concentrating their forces on Jarre. It looks as if they could run away
with things, but John Tesh distracts the referee, allowing Jarre to deliver
a few low blows and turn the tide in his favor. Suddenly it's a balanced
match, and J-M Jarre and Kraftwerk have an old fashioned slobbernocker going
on. Tesh interference gets him a little to close to the action and he's
knocked unconscious by an especially violent "Showroom Dummy" from the top
rope. The damage is done, however as Jarre is proving more resilient than
anyone had expected... and seems to have gained the upperhand.
Vangelis, nearly forgotten, manages to get to his feet and crawls back into
the ring, but is again dealt a crushing blow. Kraftwerk go for a quick
pinfall, but Jarre breaks up the count... and knocks the ref to the concrete
in the process. Tesh has managed to get back into the battle and him and
Jarre clean house.
It looks like it's all over as Jarre is the last man standing. Tesh is
trying to revive the ref, when suddenly Isabelle Adjani and Yanni come out
of nowhere and hit Jarre with a foreign object that had been concealed in
Yanni's moustache. Tesh, ever the coward, flees in terror.
Adjani revives the ref, while Yanni throws Vangelis' prone frame on top of
the other competitors.
Vangelis gets the win, in front of a partisan crowd, but Kraftwerk have won
over a lot of fans. Jarre, with his cheap shots has proven to be adept at
being the 'heel'. Adjani kicks him a few times and complains that he was a
lousy lover... much to the delight of the crowd.
Vangelis gets the title belt, but there's bad blood... and one senses that
this battle may be over, but there will be many more before the conclusion
of the war.
