i have two versions, the first being warp180 (or the newest one, as i
like to call it) and the other being Autechre_2005, which is up on
uber-doom.com. They both share the same first track, but the 2005
version definetly diverges after that is is totally fake. The only
way it could be AE would be if they threw out all thier synths, got a
completely new sample library and...uh...forgot how to write their own
music. warp180 *does* sound like them though, so i'm thinking that
it is probably real.
of course some dude gl0tch was in the IDM channel on soulseek last
night going off about how he and some other guy wrote the first one
and thanking all of us for the feedback (ha ha). of course he was
probably lying, but it had to have been someone....
