The problem with the Oakland show wasn't Autechre's music. They aren't
making pop anymore...get over it ;)
The problem was the four hours of crappy opening acts that--by the time
they took the stage--even the youngest and most energetic were
exhausted. It was a terrible venue for them anyway. The mezzanine is
great. I wish I could go but alas, I'm in Madrid, an (dare I use the
term) IDM wasteland. This city is square.
