I'm just finishing it now, an excellent book. Stan, my favourite piece of music writing is probably Kodwo Eshun's More Brilliant Than The Sun, though it may not be to everyone's taste. Google his name for examples of his thinking. Modulations is very patchy, starts out well but has some really crappy bits. David Toop's Ocean Of Sound and Haunted Weather, though by no means purely electronic are also very interesting reads.
