I think we were originally talking about (sad, strange) people who don't like SAW I, ...ICBYD or RDJ. So it's more that [the style of music discussed by the] IDM [list] has evolved far enough from its origins that people can like the new stuff without liking the originals. Which is fair enough, of course, but still quite interesting to note.
