It's hard to say really --Dave Curtis (Particle 7)
is a great jazz musician/bass-player that you can
find performing all over San Diego who has been
quietly nurturing his "electronic sound" over the
past few years with slight resemblances to music
by Boards of Canada and Squarepusher. His recent
demo has some astounding tracks that i'm sure
he'll continue to cultivate. The beauty of "Old-Folks"
is its laid-back bass/funk appeal that manages to
somehow lock itself in your mind with no intentions
of leaving.
PARTICLE 7 is one to watch out for..
He'll also be performing on Digital::Nimbus in
the new year.. stay tuned for that.
