http://www.ipodbatteryfaq.com All batteries in EVERY unit (not just Apple) eventually lose their charge and ability to recharge, and ultimately fail. Apple has long since offered replacement batteries and you can very easily buy your own third-party (for as low as $30, I believe) batteries since Apple uses industry-standard lithium-ion batteries. Secondly, they offer a very generous one year warranty which some other manufacturers do not (Creative, for instance, only offers 90 days on their battery). You can easily upgrade the warranty to three years, as well. Or, simply, replace the battery yourself. -- Mr. Tangent [the binary police] www.mrtangent.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
