i agree. bath time and easy serv made me pray for a quick death while listening to them. i can't even like them on any sort of novelty level. still, even the rest of the album left me fairly disappointed, and this coming from a former orbital fanatic with a different orbital shirt for every day of the week. the first song's pretty good, but it's pretty different than most things they've done before. "you lot" i think is pretty damn good. "acid pants" could have been good, if they didn't decide to put in what is possibly one of the worst vocal tracks in electronic music history (second only to i think the 2nd track on spooky's album "gargantuan"...i think it's the 2nd track). everything else on the cd felt like it was somehow lacking that special bit of orbitalness that made me love their previous output (yes, i really liked "middle of nowhere", no i didn't listen to "the altogether" that much). also, why the hell did they suddenly decide that trying to make shitty nu-skool breaks tracks was a good idea? brandon --- Mark Fleschler <mark@bleego.com> wrote:
