they were the sound of the times. When I mentioned Cleopatra and Invisible,
those were only two labels of that era with which I would also group
Reconstriction and Fifth Column. In fact, I get them all confused and I don't
remember what came out on what labels, but some good stuff from back then
was-

FOETUS was on play it again sam, waxtrax in the US. FLA was also on wax
trax and possibly other labels but not cleopatra or invisible. SMG was signed to
wax trax after it got bought by TVT. most of the others are licensed from foreign
labels (like leaetherstrip)
and IMO, music of the times or not, most of that stuff is what i was talking about,
3rd generation EBM. and this is coming from someone who liked/likes FLA,
F242, NE, NIN, puppy, and ministry.
