ive heard a lot about record time, I'm sure Detroit techno is their
expertise, but if it gets so many raves >about it, it could have a decent
IDM selection as well.
Record time has a small section of "idm" related stuff, but not a good
selection.
I don't know if they really have a buyer that stocks it.
In most cities I've been to, the best "IDM" store is also a multi-genre
indie shop that carries vinyl.
Most dj/rave scene shops i've been to didn't cover it too well.
The only place that really carries any "IDM" in pittsburgh (aside from my
distro) is a place that is
mostly known as an indie rocker spot. They also mostly carry the crossover
stuff or stuff that
gets sufficient hype or cmj coverage.
