how do you define "non-ironic work for britney spears"? Who gets the honor
of defining it? And would it be non-ironic if you weren't disappointed by it
or does disappointment imply its definition as non-ironic?
I mean, really...who cares what anyone thinks of anything? What's the point
of being irked?

See, this kind of talk irks me. Not you in particular, but some fans are
never happy. Confield was largely dismissed as crap (not by me) because
it was too "difficult," now they've got something simpler out and still
no one's happy. its still a poop-load more interseting to my ears than some
of the stuff off of incunabula, ie basscadet... a disappointment would be
non-ironic work for britney spears.
