Austin TX, April 3rd 2004, -- Local electronic music artist Bexarametric will open this months Teleportdoor.com Showcase at the Caucus on 912 Red River. The Austin-based producer and independent musician will bring his unique brand of Intelligent Dance and drum-and-bass which has garnered wide attention. Last year he reached 3rd on the TowerRecords.com nationwide drum-and-bass charts with his self-produced album, BEXARAMETRIC PRESSURE LP.
Bexarametric joins a stellar lineup of artists: Zygote, PORTAL, It's Raining Dead Bodies in Space, Derelikt and Unmask, with visuals by ACLM.
Teleportdoor.com is a great organization that promote shows that are all about having fun and exposing local artists, said Bexarametric. After the success of their SXSW showcase in March, Im excited to perform with them again.
The Teleportdoor.com showcases, known as an alternative platform for local unsigned electronic musicians and DJs is the brainchild of the co-owners of Big A Design, a local web hosting and design company. This summer they also plan to include a traveling roadshow and host a series of high tech happy hours downtown. The Teleportdoor.com showcases have become a event of choice for tech-savvy people in the capital of Texas.
