'the process' was a posthumous disaster barely salvaged from
unfinished recording sessions and prettied up into something
resembling what the label decided was an acceptable pop album.
whether you like the music or not, 'the process' is not truly a puppy
album in the way the others were. i like to think the title is a sort of
joke referring to the fact that the true album is skinny puppy's
'smile', existing only in "the process" of its being recorded, never
really finished.
