What? I grew up in Oregon, I never heard that term
before. Consider your sources unreliable! I can
understand the "kind buds" moniker, cause I think in
Eugene April 20th is some sorta citywide holiday.
Theres gotta be something good in Portland, is the
Pheonix festival still going on, or has that folded
since the rave act? There is suposedley some crazy
Burning Man style parties that happen in Ashland, El
Circo, they always have a good breakbeat camp at
Burning Man. Other than that Oregon is pretty rednecky
and hostile, but then again so is most of this goddamn
country.
I met the mother of whoever owns Ozone records a few
weeks ago, she was buying a bunch of overpriced crappy
southwestern art from the guy I work for. So it's a
pretty good record store? I'm thinking of visiting
Oregon in a month or so, it would be good to know of a
good record store up there so I can blow all my money
right when I get off the plane.
