Nope. Nothing like Kid 606. It sounds like a Squarepusher record. If you heard it playing somewhere completely out of context, you'd still know its Squarepusher. Overall, the sounds he uses are reminiscent of the MIRON/Budakahn Mindphone period, but the beats are generally more spastic than anything you had there.
I think everyone's getting all bent out of shape over it because after that last terrible album, no one expected something this decent.
