That's probably why so much so-called IDM coming out these days sux0r5 --
the premium placed on "different" and "complex" is so high that the
aesthetic of "flow" is getting lost.
While it's true that any knucklehead can download appZ n' crackZ off the
interweb at will, that doesn't give said knucklehead any talent.
A very wise man running a label told me recently:
"Everyone is so obsessed with being different. Fuck that -- it doesn't
have to be different, it just has to be GOOD."
Maybe your future shock just means it sucks, despite it's complexity.
