i read it a few years back, and also thought it would be a little 'ravey,' but i did, infact enjoy it. since it was a few years back, i can't really pick it apart, but i do remember that it was a great read, and recommended it to all my friends. i found out about him by reading 'cyberia,' required for one of my college classes, also a good read. he's pretty idealistic, but pulls out some cool concepts.
