And I still haven't even heard The Bug, although most of what I've read
about it has
been positive (and the AFX mix of the one track is great, and I would assume
at least a little bit representative of the original).
Well get a move on, man. The Bug album (Pressure) is one of my favorites of
the last COUPLE years, not just this year. The AFX remix both is and isn't
representative of the original: yes, the record has that rough-edged
distorted crunchiness to it but the original is definitely A LOT slower as
the Bug is basically REALLY mutated dancehall reggae. Don't know if that's
your style or not (I personally love reggae as much as electronic stuff),
but it's a great great album- particularly "Fuck Y'Self."

BBC Radiophonic 10" set they just put out too (got to respect the roots)
