PDQ (tons of used vinyl & cds), if you spend hours digging you can probably find a few cool records. 12" section is a mess and isn't separated by genres, so you'll likely have to weed thru a lot of old Krokus picture discs, and other shite before you find something cool. Hears Music on Campbell (specializes in World/Jazz but has some experimental/electronic music). The best thing about that shop is they have listening stations. ZIA records, you might find some used cds there. Sound Factory (little techno shop). I've never found anything there that I was interested in. I think most of the vinyl has sat there for years and they make more money on clothes and raver gear. Most notable local artists: Not Breathing, Steve Roach and Calexico. Best mexican restaurants: Cafe Poca Cosa (the big one) and El Charro. Most of the bars are on 4th Ave near the U Of A, but there are others all over. If you have any other questions let me know. I have a lot of friends that live there. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
