thanks for whoever recommended ms. john soda live. i went to see
them last night. the instrumentation was a good, idiosyncratic mix
- laptop, live drums, hohner clavinet through fx, two bass guitars
and sometimes a little keyboard. and of course stefanie's vocals,
sometimes sweet little girl and sometimes like a railing kim
gordon/kim deal hybrid.
for their encore they did an 80's cover song they'd done with b.
fleischmann. anyone know what that is and where to find it? i
couldn't understand her through most of the show.
