did anyone here give a crap about the flying lotus/you're dead album?
i really want to like flying lotus, i like the concept of his music, trippy
idm type trickery with hip hop beats and jazz influences...but this album
is:
1. its 40 minutes long, in my book, that's an EP at best
2. theres like 20 tracks, each fucking track is literally like 1 or 2
minutes long, and he always does this shit
3. each song will start and theres all these great jazz samples, cool
melodies, neat effects, all swirling and syncopating and you're like OK
this song intro is almost over, cant wait for the song to start! and then
it ends
4. theres like 2 or MAYBE 3 actual songs on the entire album
5. god i hate snoop dogg now, he is literally on every fucking thing from
disney kids rock albums to my little pony and now flying lotus, wtf does
this guy have to do with anything? huge waste of whatever he was paid to
appear on here
