I really don't think this is the right mailing list to be asking these sort of questions, as the music that is discussed here is generally quite apolitical. IDM artists aren't really known for having active public personas for the most part, and when they do interviews, politics are rarely discussed. I will say, though, that MOST of the artistic people I know personally - including underground eletronic musicians - tend to be left-leaning in their politics. But I don't think that's anything new, as most artistic subcultures North America in the last 100 years or more have tended to have progressive, left-wing political leanings.
