IMHO, The Schnauzer very soothing in contrast to ultra-complex glitchy IDM. I guess it's the way he uses sound washes and overtones as opposed to dry rhythmic noises. Anne :) "Alan R. I do understand the appeal of da Schnauzer but I have to say=20 there's nothing very positive (for me) in a production which lards=20 every square inch of space with sound, so you sometimes feel=20 you are suffocating under a slew of stratified synthwashes (not to=20 mention sleighbells!).=20 alan ---------------------- Alan Lockett, (Language Co-ordinator, English), Language Centre, University of Bristol, 30-32 Tyndall's Park Road, Bristol BS8 1PY, UK Alan.R.Lockett@bristol.ac.uk tel: +44 117 9741311 fax: +44 117 9741377 =20 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
