Dang, you all forgetting the funniest bestest movie ever ... Thrashin' with Red Hot Chill Peppers before they were anywhere, Devo, The Bangles, Circle Jerks, and and and ah, i wish i still owned this movie and could watch the opening sequence again. Had me stoked for life on skating. Also the 'Reach The Rock' soundtrack was pretty good with loads of good chicago post-rock, even if the movie was a bit weird/lame. The film was directed by John Hughes, like ten years or so after all his 80s movies, and the soundtrack was scored by his son John Hughes III, who runs Hefty records and who enlisted John McEntire for the job, ending up with this awesome collection of bands like Tortoise, Bundy K. Brown, The Sea & Cake, Polvo and Dianogah. -thor --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
