Just to be horrifyingly on-topic: On the subject of soundtracks, The Notwist just released a wonderful 12" on Alien Transistor records called "Lichter", which is the soundtrack of a film by that name by Hans-Christian Schmid. I haven't seen the movie (which I wouldn't understand unless it was translated into English anyway *g*) but the music is wonderful - piano and electronics from the Notwist plus cello and zarb. Includes a Console remix, and is fab fab. Real audio samples here, it turns out: http://www.alientransistor.de/AT/AT-N03-Notwist-Lichter.html Cheers, Peter -- Peter Hollo raven@fourplay.com.au http://www.frogworth.com/blog/ FourPlay - Eclectic Electric String Quartet http://www.fourplay.com.au/ Raven: experimental electronica http://www.frogworth.com/raven/ "Of course, dance music can be a music where you lie on your back and your brain cells dance" - Michael Karoli of Can, quoted in Wire mag. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
