Foobar2000 is an excellent program full stop.. as soon as you embrace hotkeys you'll love it... it does try and remove id3v2 tags tho, as they are bloated and a curse on our files... anyways.. how does the mass tagging work in it.. drag on files and then in the playlist do some tag stuff?! i've edited single ones before perhaps never tried multiple.. Anyways tag and rename is very good.. but it also costs money mp3 Tag Tools http://massid3lib.sourceforge.net/ Does all of what tag and rename does with a few little quirks to its interface and its completely free.. as such its the best option and the only tagger i use.. works with id3v1, and v2... can set them via filenames and if you select your files first in the window you can then tick on fields you want to edit for all of them at once... basically all you need ;) James
