another great melodic idm cd that straddles the line between
experimental idm and more accessible structures beats and melodies. in
a similar vein to proem or i guess, reminds me a bit of the esem
releases. xela brings a unique style and flavor with excellent
production values. you may hear hints of other styles you recognize in
here but overall this can only be idm. great super tight high quality
song writing with great production, you can't be disappointed.
also the adam johnson chigliak cd on merck, lots of amazing synth work
in some fantastic ambient tracks, great atmospheres, great production,
great melodies, another all around fantastic cd.
i personally am tracking down both of these asap. :)
also be on the lookout for another proem cd/lp on coredump ... an ep
titled 'songs 4 the city bus' which i expect to be of course fantastic.
and the 2=1 proem 12" on merck is out also
