I have the Edirol PCR-30 usb controler, which blows away the Oxygen 8 in
both contruction and functionality.
-3 octaves
-8 faders
-8 knob
-8 solo/mute buttons
-mod/pitch bend
There's more, but check it yourself.

The PCR-30 runs $180, which is great considering all the extra features.
The Oxygen series keyborads are built like shit. I don't know anyone that
has gigged with theirs over a year without it falling apart. Edirol is a
sister company to Roland, which has much more experience working with
kerboard components.
