as for me, I say vinyl carries a certain amount of mysticism to it, I almost
prefer it to digital stuff. I recommend Final Scratch, which is a rad way to
use turntables and a mixer with your mp3's. It uses specially formatted
records to control mp3's on your box. Really neat to scratch samples you
can't find pressed, unless you've got a vinyl cutter, or a real good
connection for a short run or two. I say it's the best for actual live
mixing. Anything else would be uncivilized...
