Just to put a couple things in context for whoever reads these little
discussions.. Jim Morrison was originally a very shy performer.. But as kent
pointed out he was always emotionally connected with the audience even when
his back was turned. About Miles Davis.. Why did I bring him into this. I
don't know. He was brilliant, but when I think of creative performers who
put very little emphasis on 'entertainment' I think of him. What is most
important about live IDM in my opinion is turning an incredible style of
music into an incredible scene. Ideally people should not only feel a
connection with the artist but the other people at the show. Gotta get back
to work before I get fired.
