just got finished watching a great documentary I rented on dvd about
"rumspringa"..
rumspringa is what Amish kids go through when they turn 16..
they're let out into the "English" world to see what free life is like, they
do drugs, party and have sex like mad, and do what ever other 16 year old
American does.... then they (hopefully) come back to their Amish families to
join the church and be baptized, which almost all do... it's all a very
frightening and sobering look at what seems to be a fairly large cult, err,
I mean religion. :)
it's called Devil's Playground..
why am I sharing this?
because the WHOLE soundtrack consists of aphex's back catalogue...
literally almost every second of the documentary uses aphex's music.....
like the Amish say..
"have as many kids as you can and do without all the English toys such as
cars, electricity, or alcohol. Play out there and you'll be playin' in the
devil's playground."
