the new ae is so top notch, really, id love to be able
to agree with pietrobot that others are doing the same
thing but its simply not true, and if it were, then,
well, biters...what are you gonna do?
(lusine? what? i like lusine, but there's no
comparison) the only people who come close to the type
of surreal anamorphic soundscapes as ae are coil or
nurse with wound, maybe colongib...and even then?
listen to tracks 2, 4 and 8 from Draft 7.30....
NOONE's doing ANYTHING like that, ae are consistently
doing stuff that isn't approached in either maturity
or dexterity by any other producer. alien sounds. i
love those other guys in their own way, but c'mon....
fuck, even listening to tilapia from cichli suite
about pro tools, go to file, import audio track, done!
i take it your audio(mac) is in .aiff? thats the best
format you can use for macs, download felt tip sound
studio its free and easy, a great little importing,
cutting app...
seriously pro tools is the bees knees. and so is kool
