Not to be a dick, but you certainly come across as a retard here.
You simultaneously talk down other people for not knowing anything about
music and then go on to assume that somebody who has contributed greatly
to modern music isn't as important as somebody who fits into the small
subgenre into which you've pigeonholed yourself.
He was a member of Spiritualized and before that Spacemen 3, arguably
the two biggest shoegazer bands ever (throw My Bloody Valentine in there
and you're set) and definitely not "teeny bopping techno."
