don't get me wrong, i LIKE claro. i own it. good stuff, but compared to the talent caliber of his label mates (minus a one Mira Calix, but that's a whole other thread... just look up), he seems out of place. Considering the hype/exposure he attained vs the quality of music he writes, i'm in the opinion of feeling he just doesn't belong. For poppy melodic IDM, Kettel's Smiling Little Cow was INFINITELY sweeter than the Brothomstates album (but i think claro came out earlier, so that's unfair, i suppose), and that should have had the Warp exposure. -mark sleepy kitty wrote:
